Independance Day Parade (but as it was my birthday I like to think that it was for me!)

Then it was off for some sightseeing in the city.....

This WAS my birthday cake.....

and then it was off to dinner.....

Visit to Tbilisi MacDonalds....some faces have been hidden to protect the guilty.....

 

Georgia - International Football

In the morning the children came to visit....

...and in the afternoon it was time for football (our team have been training hard by drinking lots of beer).  It did help that our goalie used to be the goalkeeper for Scotland under 16s.   There was no referee for the match so there were some interesting fouls - as you can see in some of the photos.

Dinner time - lamb on a spit.

An afternoon of drinking wine (and playing with a puppy)   Some took the wine tasting slightly more seriously than others.........
