Bolivia - The Altiplano - Day 1

Leaving La Paz - on a very small airplane..

Bolivia - La Paz

Not much to do there - unless it's a Sunday night......and then it's time to go Cholita wrestling.......

Peru - Machu Picchu

After walking through the Lares Valley, and a short train ride from Ollantaytambo we arrived at Machu Picchu.....

After Machu Picchu the plan was to carry on through Peru up to Lake Titicaca, but it was not to be.......I lost a battle with an insect bite and ended up here.......for 6 days.

Finally released - wearing a massive bandage - and it was off to Bolivia..
