Argentina - Parque Nacional Iguazu

Arriving in the late afternoon to the Brazilian side of the falls it was a quick trip over the border into Argentina to the hotel  - La Cantera Lodge.  A quick trip downtown to try and get some Pesos was a fruitless task - Banco Argentino did not like UK bank cards - followed by a taxi driver taking us to the wrong hotel did not lead to the best first impression of the area but at least I know how to tell  a taxi driver that he's got it wrong. (Level 1 Travel Spanish complete)

La Cantera Lodge..

The next day was an early start with a new talkative taxi driver (Spanish Conversation Level 2 - Palm trees and Tigers) to go and see the main attraction - Las Cataratas.

The 'Gran Aventura' boat trip -

The boat goes completely under the waterfall - apologies for the fingers over the lens at times but it's a bit tricky to hold a camera when all the water is coming down. The waterproof camera survived, though I don't hold out much hope for the Samsung SIII mini the woman in front was using. It's not me screaming, it's Nick.  (Actually, the screaming was from the over excitable Latinas sat behind us)
